The Grain Collective is a collaboration of like-minded artists and entrepreneurs whose goal is to raise awareness and facilitate changes in the world around us.  It is dedicated to the preservation of the natural world and the promotion of organizations and products that share this same passion for green living.

The state of our society is changing.  We believe that there are two directions that it can take.  The first course is chosen when we fail to alter our behavior.  On this path, our standard of living will steadily drop as the world around us deteriorates through global warming, the exhaustion of our natural resources and the pollution of our land and water.  The alternative requires an active change of behavior and thought in our society.  This involves a conscious effort to promote and use products that are manufactured ecologically and are composed of materials that are green and renewable.  The Grain Collective is committed to embracing this change; to live and interact with this world in a manner that lessens our impact environmentally and preserves its beauty for generations to come.

This thinking is at the forefront of our design and production.  The materials used in our products are acquired from sustainable resources and are grown 100% pesticide free.  In addition to their environmental qualities, we strive to provide our customers with select merchandise made in the U.S.A. that is superior in durability, look and feel to the common alternative.

The Grain Collective is a way of life.  It is based on the idea that man is not alienated from nature but unbreakably connected to and infused with it.  The Grain seeks to promote all aspects of environmentalism that support conscious efforts to improve the world we live in and encourage the sustainable use of its natural resources. We believe it is time to assess our impact on the world and take steps to protect its integrity.
